I have a iPhone 2g Unlocked and jailbroken, With cydia and Installer, And when ever i click on “Phone” to make a call or something like that it wont let me click anything on the screen (As if the phone froze) than after a few seconds it goes back to Main Screen, Everything else works fine except this “Phone” button. Please soneone let me know what to do.

What firmware does a new iPhone 3g have if you get it from the store or as a replacement from apple?

I’m having a problem with my 3mm/AUX jack on my iPhone 2G. I just got it as a hand me down, and I wasn’t sure if you could only use the Apple brand earbuds with this phone or is the aux jack broken?

I guess I forgot to mention that I’ve tried multiple brands of earbuds of the right size with no luck. I didn’t want to waste money on buying the Apple ones if they wouldn’t work either.
