When I Press Something On My Iphone It Will Go Right Back To My Homescreen…help!!!!?

it’s driving me crazy
I know it happens with alot of applications,
And I know it happens sometimes when your on the Internet.
But now it happens when I press “my photos”
For some reason it won’t let me look at my pictures or change my wallpaper. I know it’s kinda common so does anyone know how to fix this??? Thanks!!!
